This is a unique opportunity for fishing enthusiasts! 2 Hour “behind the scenes” Fishing Rod Building Demonstration for 2 people. Also included is the story of the evolution of fishing rods and a chance to view Crazy Horse Rods' private collection. Experience how a custom fishing rod is designed and built. Starting with a design sheet, parts selection, color choices and the assembly process. Rod repair techniques will be demonstrated as well. In addition, we will take you back in time showing the evolution of fishing rods. Our collection begins in the mid 1800’s with a wooden fishing rod and culminates with the modern carbon fiber blended fishing rods of today. We will show many of the major fishing rod advances in between. We can guarantee you will hold a fishing rod or two that you have never seen before. Crazy Horse Fishing Rods is owned by David and Kelly Gaestel. They are both internationally acknowledged custom rod builders and have been featured in international rod building publications.
